The Resmat sand separator or sand trap is built to European standards UNE-EN 858-1 and UNE-EN 858-2
MATERIAL
-Fibreglass-reinforced polyester.
-Polypropylene manholes.

CHARACTERISTICS
-High chemical and mechanical resistance.
-High corrosion-resistance.
-High weather-resistance.

MAINTENANCE
-Remove the accumulated sludge every 6 months.

OPERATION
-Separation of sand by decanting.

Operating Details

The sand separator is an essential element in car washes and any application where sand is washed in that has to be separated from the water.
In car washes, the unit should be installed ahead of the hydrocarbon separator.
The sand is held in the bottom of the tank, while the water is taken out through the top.
